Introducing Mobility to Healthcare
In today’s healthcare environment, Clinicians have a need to access data from multiple sources, anytime, anywhere. They are looking at mobile solutions as the perfect delivery model that should not only give them access to information but also deliver it in a way that is easy to consume. In this session, we will introduce you to the ‘miVEDiX for Healthcare’ offering and will take you on a journey that is sure to excite the visual senses and show you how easy it is to consume information from what have been traditionally closed sources.
March 1 (Tuesday) 10:00 – 10:15am
March 2 (Wednesday) 10:00 – 10:15am
March 3 (Thursday) 11:30 – 11:45am
Achieving Sustainable Goals for Public Health
On 1 January 2016, the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development — adopted by world leaders in September 2015 at a historic UN Summit — officially came into force. Over the next fifteen years, with these new Goals that universally apply to all, countries will mobilize efforts to end all forms of challenges to improve lives worldwide. iVEDiX and Europe-based partner MHII have been working closely with the United Nations (UNAIDS) to leverage innovative data, analytics, and mobile solutions to monitor important indicators at global, national and sub-national levels for enhancing healthcare in developing countries. Come listen and learn from our global data solution specialists as they share their story of how leveraging data is improving the HIV/AIDS response throughout Africa.

Clinical Rounding Productivity & Going Digital
Although 8 out of 10 physicians use an EHR today, most feel it doesn’t help them practice medicine. They would not recommend one to a colleague. Focus on record keeping by EHR vendors as opposed to enabling physicians in their workflow has brought us to this juncture. This session will focus on how miVEDiX can enable increased use of EHR’s thereby improving the quality of health care and the efficiency with which it is delivered.
March 1 (Tuesday) 11:30 – 11:45am
March 2 (Wednesday) 5:15 – 5:30pm
March 3 (Thursday) 1:45 – 2:00pm
Patient Flow Challenges & Mobile Dashboards
As the Medicare payment policy has moved from a cost and charge reimbursement approach to a value-based payment model, being able to monitor and take actions real-time on patient length of stay to enable staying ahead of the national average has become more critical. No longer can health systems rely on statics reports with retrospective data. In this session, we will show how miVEDiX’s mobile platform with it’s cutting edge visualization, self-service analytics and the ability to access a myriad of systems can help health systems achieve this goal.
March 1 (Tuesday) 1:45 – 2:00pm
March 2 (Wednesday) 3:15 – 3:30pm
March 3 (Thursday) 3:15 – 3:30pm
Improving Patient Care Transitions through Analytics
When it comes to Transitions of Care, EHRs and HIEs are constrained in the manner in which they present information, struggle to show a longitudinal view of clinical and psychosocial patient information, and are not optimized for a workflow that engages patients. This negatively impacts outcomes. This session will focus on how miVEDiX can deliver customizable mobile dashboards and innovative presentation of content from EHRs, HIEs, and a myriad of systems, to improve the patient care and productivity of all involved while enabling targeted population health.
March 1 (Tuesday) 2:30 – 2:45pm
March 2 (Wednesday) 2:30 – 2:45pm
March 3 (Thursday) 10:45 – 11:00pm
Optimizing Clinical Quality Through Reporting
Come join iVEDiX as we present ‘miVEDiX for Healthcare’ in the Reporting and Analytics Arena. We will show you how easy it is to simplify your current Balanced Scorecard so that the user is drawn to a smaller number of role-relevant KPI’s. Not only will we showcase the drill down capabilities that will allow the user to see a graphical representation of the change in performance over time, do ad-hoc analysis and view data across multiple dimensions, but, we will also share some of the collaboration tools that Clinicians can use in understanding the problem and finding a solution. These are definitely not your legacy dashboards!

Legacy Data Lifecycle Solutions
The average hospital has a portfolio of well over 100 software applications – and on average over 35% of them goes unused. These applications create recurring costs for the hospital in unnecessary support and maintenance contracts. They also contain important data that can be a critical context in planning care coordination, especially for aging populations and those with chronic conditions who are seen across care settings. Utilizing key capabilities inherent within the miVedix platform, hospital customers are transforming once dormant legacy data and integrating it into a useful component in real-time clinical decision making. Use cases for integrating legacy data into real-time mobile analytics solutions include: Transitions of care, Emergency/Inpatient admit decisions, and Care coordination and planning.
