iVEDiX at Imagine RIT: Innovation and Creativity Festival 2016

As an organization that focuses heavily on innovation in data and technology, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to exhibit with students and alumni at this year’s IMAGINE RIT: Innovation and Creativity Festival.

IMAGINE RIT kicks off Rochester’s rich festival season each spring and is a free event to encourage local STEM education. This year’s event will be held on  Saturday, May 7th from 10am to 5pm, rain or shine! The campus-wide event showcases the innovative and creative spirit of RIT students, faculty, and staff. Visitors of all ages experience the breadth and depth of RIT through interactive presentations, hands-on demonstrations, exhibitions, and research projects set up throughout campus. There, visitors can also enjoy live musical performances and entertainment on performance stages.

Many RIT students and graduates have helped us develop the miVEDiX platform our company is built on and is used by organizations around the world to better manage, visualize and interact with their data in order to improve the way they monitor and make decisions in their business. During this event, we will be sharing live demonstrations of how the United Nations Program on HIV and AIDS (UNAIDS) is using the miVEDiX platform to monitor public health in African countries like the Republic of Kenya.

Our hands-on exhibit will teach visitors about the growing importance of data in business, allow them to interact with live data from UNAIDS, and interact with data in the same way our key customers do. On top of this, we will be engaging our visitors with a live real-time polling and an onsite physical display of a data graph. If you’re interested in visiting us, we’ll be located in the Saunders College of Business Saturday, May 7, 2016 between 9:00am to 5:00pm.

If you’re planning to be there let us know if the comments, and we’ll see you there!
